DNAForge runs as a desktop app on macOS and Windows. Download an installer from the DNAForge website, open the app, and then create or import a project.
Download an installer
- Select Download in the website header, or open the DNAForge download page.
- If you are signed out, DNAForge opens the sign-in menu and returns you to the download page after you verify your identity.
- Sign in with Google, GitHub, organization SSO, or an email link. To make a new account, select the smaller Create account action below the sign-in menu and choose a verification method.
- Click the available installer for your computer.
The download page can offer Mac (Apple Silicon), Mac (Intel), and Windows builds when those builds are available. It offers only the current qualified installer for each platform; older snapshots retained for recovery are not customer download choices.
Open DNAForge
- Start DNAForge.
- In the left activity bar, select Explorer, the second button from the top with a folder icon. On a fresh profile, confirm that My Project and the separate DNAForge Samples project appear under Projects.
- Continue in My Project for local work, or open DNAForge Samples to explore bundled examples.
