View sequences and maps

Open a DNA sequence, inspect the sequence view, and switch between sequence and map layouts.

On this page

Choose the view

  1. In the right sequence tool rail, find View below Tools.
  2. Select Sequence to focus on bases.
  3. Select Map to replace the sequence tracks with a map-only layout.
  4. Select Side by side or Top and bottom to see the sequence and map together.
